On November 1, the Jubilee Year began on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of St. Zygmunt Szczęsny Feliński (born on November 1, 1822).
By thanking God for his life, we want to present the figure and work of the Holy Archbishop Feliński through various initiatives organized in the Jubilee Year.

Since the opening of the museum, many children have already come to visit it and to get know the life story of Saint Zygmunt Szczęsny Feliński. And that is all thanks to interesting multimedia solutions for the little ones, that not only inform but also entertain. That is why adults can easily visit the museum with their kids, because they will not be bored here.

On January 13, 2017, with the participation of many invited guests and visitors, the Museum of Saint Zygmunt Szczęsny Feliński was ceremonially opened. Among the guests, there were representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), museum directors, historians, people of culture and priests and nuns. On Saturday, December the 7th, 2017 an extraordinary event took place at the General House of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary in Warsaw, 97 Żelazna Street. The Museum of St. Sigismund Felinski, which was just founded there, was devoted by H.E. Kazimierz cardinal Nycz. The Metropolitan of Warsaw celebrated the Holy Mass and then visited and devoted the Museum. The Rev. Msgr. Paweł Rytel-Andrianik, the chaplain in the General House and the spokesman of the Polish Episcopate and the Rev. Mother Janina Kierstan, the general superior of the Congregation with over 100 sisters attended the whole ceremony.
